NEW DELHI, INDIA: Aiming to increase its revenue from non-U.S. market, Indian arm of GlobalLogic has plans to increase its headcount by 10 per cent every quarter. "India is our largest delivery center. We have half of our workforce in India and other half in Ukraine and Argentina. This year we are looking to acquire more talents in India to increase our delivery capacity," said Ajmal Noorani, chief of international business, GlobalLogic in an interaction with CIOL. GlobalLogic has a workforce of over 3700 spread across the globe. GlobalLogic has ongoing partnerships with more than 150 emerging and established clients in markets such as digital media, finance, healthcare, infrastructure, retail and telecom. At present the company gets 80 per cent of its business from U.S. market but it is simultaneously planning to increase its presence in emerging markets of Europe and Asia Pacific. "We want to raise contribution from non-U.S. market where we are operating and bring it at par with that of U.S. market. Expansion plans for India is in line with the company’s business goal. In this quarter alone, we plan to hire 300 to 400 new talents," said Noorani. The company is expanding its delivery centers in Bangalore and Noida. It has also set-up new facility in Pune. |
