New Delhi, Sep 16 : GlobalLogic, a company engaged in software R and D services, today appointed Mr Sunil Singh as Chief of Asia Pacific region and Managing Director of India. Mr Singh will manage GlobalLogic's Indian operations and market development, as well as guide the company's overall business strategy in the Asia Pacific region. ''As Silicon Valley East, India plays a key role in our overall global strategy,'' CEO GlobalLogic Peter Harrison said in a statement. ''Sunil's extensive knowledge of product development and background in strategy and operations make him perfectly suited to lead our activities in this region. We are delighted to have him on board,'' he added. With over seventeen years experience managing high-tech product companies, Mr Singh has played a major role in the enterprise software and consumer internet sectors. Prior to joining GlobalLogic, he served as CEO of Informance International. His career includes executive and senior management positions at firms such as Mokume (acquired by Versant) and AppNet (acquired by CommerceOne). |
