GlobalLogic's endeavors to position Nagpur on the Indian IT Map

Noida, India - November 23, 2006 – GlobalLogic, Inc., a leading global provider of outsourced product development services, announced their participation in 'Destination Nagpur' an IT event presented by NASSCOM & organized by VED Council & VASE. The event being held on November 24th, 2006 will position Nagpur as the hub of the Indian IT scenario in Western India. GlobalLogic is the Gold sponsor for the event. GlobalLogic will be represented by Rajul Garg, VP-Corporate Development.

Commenting on GlobalLogic's participation in the event Mr. Rajul Garg, VP - Corporate Development, GlobalLogic said, "Through this forum, we not only want to create greater awareness around Nagpur as a fast emerging market, but also want to highlight the essence, relevance and value of the place."

The objective of the event is to position Nagpur as India's fastest developing city with International importance due to the 4000 Hectares MIHAN project. And also, attract the big players in the IT and associated industries. GlobalLogic took over Lambent Technologies in Nagpur earlier this year. The acquisition and take over process is completely over now and Lambent Technology is officially known as GlobalLogic. The company has a facility in Nagpur and by participating in the event wants to highlight the company's focus on Western India and successful business in Nagpur.

Mr. Garg said, "GlobalLogic as a company realized the importance of Nagpur and has had business association with the place since long. And now by participating in this event we not only want to reiterate our commitment to India but also enhance our focus on Nagpur." He further added, "Though Nagpur has much to offer in terms of manpower, infrastructure and other facilities, the city isn't usually found on India's IT map. Our objective of participating in this event is to make innovative use of the city and the advantages it has to offer."
