New Delhi, June 8 : Software R&D services company GlobalLogic Inc on Tuesday said it has bagged a three-year contract from Global Graphics Software, a developer of e-document and printing software, to provide product engineering services. GlobalLogic has also taken over India software engineering operations of Global Graphics Software. "By partnering with GlobalLogic, Global Graphics expects to achieve a higher level of innovation and significant cost savings over the contract period," a company release said. The company declined to divulge the size of the order. GlobalLogic has absorbed Global Graphics' India employees (22) into its Pune development centre and is providing the firm with product development and quality assurance services. Mr Gary Fry, CEO of Global Graphics Software, said, "Our partnership with GlobalLogic enables us to reduce costs through service level-based expenditures and airtight operational processes. It also positions us for further growth as we develop our new 'gDoc product line' by giving us access to GlobalLogic's proven R&D methods, technologies and expertise." |
