Scope of the discussion: This webinar will discuss all aspects of creating an automating software testing system, including: Unit Test, Integration Testing, CI/CD Build stability testing, and formal software requirements verification.

Applicable Platforms: Embedded Medical Device Software/Firmware, SaMD software executed on various OTS hardware and services platforms (Ex: Mobile, Tablet, Desktop, Server & Cloud), including any class I, II & III medical device software.

Attendees of the Webinar should expect:

  • An overview of the considerations affecting an automated test strategy, associated methodologies, the creation and utilization of a multi-purpose framework, and how this framework is utilized to support the variety of formal and non-formal testing that is usually associated with any medical device product development effort
  • A breakdown of the various 3rd party tools, and services that can be leverage to accelerate the creation of an automated test framework and associated test cases
  • An understanding on how automated test frameworks can be interfaced and integrated with other NPD tools to generate the required IEC 62304 software test deliverables
  • How GlobalLogic have utilized simulators and both physical and virtual test farms to cover a wide variety of hardware platforms, configurations and OS versions that are utilized for SaMD applications
  • Examples on how these automated test frameworks have been utilized on commercially available medical device products
