Description:
Avid-ProTools team is focusing on Pro Tools Family development. Pro Tools suites intention is to compose, record, edit, and mix high-quality music or sound for movies on a Mac or PC using Pro Tools, the industry-standard audio production platform. Design the perfect setup for your needs with a wide array of Pro Tools solutions—from hardware interfaces and consoles to software, plug-ins, and more. Our team provides design, development and quality assurance of industry best products, as well as plugins development, qualifications, CET services and more.
Requirements:

Formal education in audio production, music technology or a similar field, or comparable knowledge gained through experience working in the audio industry.

Familiarity with a variety of music production workflows.

Operational experience using studio software and hardware tools such as Digital Audio Workstations, plug-ins, I/O devices, control surfaces among others. Although Pro Tools-specific experience is highly desired, experience using other DAWs is also welcome!

Experience using macOS and Windows operating systems.

Familiarity with the main factors that can impact a computers performance.

A unique ability to stay focused and systematically boil down a complex issue in order to identify the underlying root cause.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Job Responsibilities:

Test the functionality and reliability of Audio applications in different scenarios and system configurations which may involve DAWs, plug-ins and audio peripherals, either on the desktop or mobile platforms.

Work in close collaboration with other testers, software developers, project managers and product designers to identify issues, understand risks and ensure our quality standards are met.

Reproduce and isolate bugs and performance issues reported by users of our products and precisely document your steps and test environment so that others can debug / replicate them.

Create test plans and document test procedures for a variety of music production and sound post-production workflows.

Work as part of a globally distributed team with members in European and United States time zones.

In this role you will use your audio industry experience, technical mindset and curiosity to verify the quality of new features and catch issues throughout the development lifecycle of our mobile applications and related products.
