  • Proven track record in successfully winning new business across sectors in IT services/solutions: in particular FS, Banking solution sales knowledge and networking is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent understanding of Cloud, IT Managed Services, CI/CD iterative Software solutions and their delivery including how these can be positioned to Medium sized and most importantly Enterprise level clients. 
  • The ability to exceed challenging sales targets 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to quickly create long term relationships. 
  • Experience of working in a selling consultancy services, solutions and bespoke software, Digital CI/CD DevOps Agile solution selling. 
  • Sales at Enterprise and Medium Enterprise Level 
  • Other prime sectors sales experience (Utilities, Insurance, FMCG etc.)

Job Responsibilities:

As a Sales Lead you’ll be accountable for owning and driving sales in one or more new and / or  existing client accounts to maximize revenue and continuous revenue generating opportunities  across all Practice areas. Utilizing your sector knowledge AND/OR Enterprise IT solutions and  services experience to generate opportunities for a fast-growing practice. 

About the role:

  • Delivering to agreed sales, profit and gross margin business plan and targets 
  • Development of new client relationships to drive new business sales revenue
  • Leveraging new business opportunities from existing clients
  • Leveraging your contact network to generate sales opportunity and revenue
  • New business development target identification across existing and new sectors including the following activities:
  • Target business segmentation and identification
  • Online/CRM contact planning and engagement plan development – market opportunity mapping.
  • Following up and qualifying leads generated by the Digital Practice – converting into business opportunities and revenue.
  • Originating new business opportunities with targeted approaches to new and existing enterprise scale clients.
  • Leveraging sales team networks and cross practice activity to generate leads and sales pipeline.
  • Identifying target client issues and positioning solutions to resolve these: Adding value AND/OR saving costs, maximizing efficiency etc
  • Generating events, “meet-ups” and discussion groups in tandem with marketing/digital to shape customer opinion and originate further leads.
  • Building sustainable positive relationships within new and existing clients
  • Identifying budget holders and key decision makers.
  • Utilising Practice Directors and Colleagues to design develop and deliver appropriate RFP’s to identified new business
  • Lead and motivate an account team of Service Delivery and Client Service professionals, ensuring they have opportunity for personal development.
  • Ensure that the team adheres to the clear processes and procedures that support all activities relating to Client management and development, Sales Support, Service
  • Delivery, Practices Management, Finance Administration and Contractor management. Proactively identify and suggest improvements to the way in which we work.
  • Lead by example in proactively supporting initiatives aimed at improving Client satisfaction.
  • Manage costs and expenses as appropriate.
  • Act as a team player to support the Company objectives and Client strategy. Provide support/mentoring to your colleagues where appropriate. 

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be $165,000 to $190,000 and reflects base salary only and does not include any additional bonus/variable compensation, benefits etc that may be applicable for the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
