Description:

In this role, you will direct all sales planning and account development and will drive the achievement of annual revenue targets. You will be responsible for creating a pipeline, qualifying opportunities, mobilizing the right teams for proposal development, negotiating pricing, and ensuring the successful delivery of services.

Requirements:

10-15 years of successful technology sales experience
Knowledgeable and conversant about all stages of the software product development life cycle
Sales experience in product development services, systems integration services, or enterprise software
Experience selling the benefits of offshore resourcing
An appreciation of and ideally experience in the private equity ecosystem
Broad industry acumen spanning MedTech, consumer products, and/or technology
A track record of developing, coordinating, and deploying cross-corporate resources in pursuit of competitive opportunities
Intellectually curious, driven, results-oriented, team-oriented

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline. MBA highly preferred.

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be $174,250 to $190,000 and reflects base salary only and does not include any additional bonus/variable compensation, benefits etc that may be applicable for the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.


Job Responsibilities:

Sales Planning and Review: You will create the sales plan, the sales pipeline and the Target Account List (TAL), provide sign-offs on the TAL, and conduct pipeline reviews on a monthly basis to assess the shape, size, and velocity of the pipeline and to ensure achievement of sales targets as per the plan.

Market Development: The AVP of Sales will contribute executive leadership by being present at key events and conferences. He/she will influence clients to provide references, generate analyst coverage, and participate in joint webinars and speaking engagements.

Customer Prospecting and Qualification: The AVP of Sales will ensure that the sales plan appropriately addresses prospecting and lead generation through reviews of pipeline and necessary follow-ups. S/he will qualify the opportunities and coordinate internal resources to pursue those opportunities.

Proposal Development: The AVP of Sales will help identify the right team for proposal development. S/he will provide the required support, such as intelligence on competition, internal approvals, and regular reviews, to ensure that a winning proposal is developed.

Negotiation and Closure: The AVP of Sales will provide executive presence for meetings with the prospect and engage higher management if required.

Contracting and MSA: The AVP of Sales will help identify MSA accounts and help his/her team create positioning for GlobalLogic as a strategic partner. S/he will negotiate MSA terms and conditions to create a long-term relationship with the sponsors and portfolio companies.

Account Planning and Review: The AVP of Sales will be responsible for achieving account-specific revenue, margin, and utilization objectives.
