Description:
Customer is a large hardware corporation based in Germany. You will play a crucial role in expanding the new Digital Innovations unit and your main focus will be on development of a company-wide Identity solution. In this challenging function you will be part of a small agile team with other senior devs. The way of working is very casual and trust-based and the team aims for regular direct collaboration with project stakeholders such as experts from various departments, such as IT Experts, Product Owners or Engineers who will be consuming your solution.
Requirements:
- at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position, where you built a solid background in agile software engineering environment
- experience in Node.js
- solid understanding of REST architecture, microservices architecture, common SE design patterns
- ability to understand business requirements, collaborate with peer engineers and translate the requirements into a truly successful digital product
- excellent skills in modern JavaScript (i.e. ES6 or later) – for fullstack candidates
- good verbal and written skills in English.

Job Responsibilities:
You will be part of an agile, interdisciplinary team of frontend, backend and full-stack software engineers, UI / UX designers and product owners, which enables the co-ideation and development of customer-centric digital products.
You will be working with state-of-the-art tech stack, based on JavaScript (TypeScript, React.js), developing and integrating REST & GraphQL APIs, and architecting & developing end-to-end web solutions. With your knowledge and experience, you will be contributing to further improvements in the development processes. You will be working with a team with a DevOps – mindset, not only developing solutions, but also testing and documenting your product and supporting the digital transformation of ZEISS
