Description:

Our client is a leader in hardware, software, digital services, and fully-integrated solutions for musicians, producers, and DJs of all genres and levels of experience.
We are looking for a talented Business Analyst/Product Owner to be a member of the Audio Products development team, which creates and maintains several of the products in our Audio product portfolio including cutting-edge audio production devices, integrated hardware/software systems, cross-platform sound/music applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related specialties
• Solid understanding of system development processes and methodologies, including analysis and design, requirements definition, test planning and execution, conversion, implementation, and business consulting
• Strong communication skills, with special emphasis on active listening and interpretation skills
• System Analytics: the ability to see the big picture and can convey it to team members
• Appreciation of team accomplishments over personal accomplishments
• Experience in managing requirements in Agile methodologies
• Experience in using tools for team collaboration (e.g. Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Because the role requires a high degree of internal team interaction with client teams, the candidate must have superior communication and influencing skills, an understanding of business processes and systems, and the ability to organize and prioritize end-user issues/requests
• System/Business Analyst, Development, or QA background for Back-end will be a big plus
• Experience in authoring detailed requirements and guiding software development from non-functional and functional perspective
• Must be proficient acting in and leading integrated process teams, as well as coordinating and communicating customer requirements with development and test functions
• A big plus is an experience working in the sound/music industry or having sound/music-related hobbies
• Product Owner courses/certification is a big plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing the role of a Product Owner for the development team
• Break down the high-level features to the stories/tasks, define and prioritize team backlog according to business value and customer needs
• Work with the development team to ensure that they understand the vision for the product and participate in Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Demo meetings
• Work closely with stakeholders
• Work with customer clients, understand the client’s needs, suggest, consult
• Manage dependencies
• Manage risks
• Evaluating product progress at each iteration
• Ensuring delivery of the product software, meeting the technical, quality, timing, and cost targets of the project plan, and tracking the software development activities according to the milestones of the project
• Lead one or more requirements gathering and analysis efforts, working closely with the business to align feature priorities across the program
• Ensure that the system and functional architecture priorities are consistently applied across the solution, presenting their strategic benefits and managing their use across the solution efficiently and effectively
• Self-directed work style, provide visionary leadership and mentorship to less experienced professional staff
