Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Industry CTO to spearhead our growth and solutions strategy within the Financial Services sector.

This is a high-impact role that will focus on developing new offerings & capabilities and applying it towards shaping large transformational deals.

The role would be reporting into the Financial Services Business Unit Head.

 

The starting base salary range for this role is estimated to be $180000 to 220000. This salary range is based on the role and is provided as a good-faith estimate. The amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations. #LI-AK2

Requirements

Deep industry expertise:

  • 20+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, with a strong focus on Banking and/or Insurance.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends, challenges, and emerging technologies such as: Digital transformation initiatives (cloud migration, AI/ML adoption, data analytics) ; Regulatory landscape and compliance requirements (e.g., PSD2, GDPR) ; Fintech disruption and innovation (e.g., blockchain, open banking) ; Cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies
  • Experience working with various business models and operating structures within the Financial Services sector (e.g., retail banks, investment banks, insurance companies, asset management firms)

Proven track record of success:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver large-scale technology initiatives within the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for new products or services.
    Measurable achievements in driving revenue growth or market share within a Financial Services organization.
    Examples of successful client engagements and partnerships.

Relationship building and networking:

  • Extensive network of industry contacts, including senior executives within client organizations, technology partners, and industry influencers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners

Strong leadership and communication skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to build consensus, influence stakeholders, and drive decision-making.
  • Experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams.
  • Executive presence and the ability to represent the company at senior levels within client organizations and industry events.

Technical and business acumen:

  • Strong understanding of technology trends and their potential impact on the Financial Services industry.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into technology solutions and vice versa.
  • Experience with various technology platforms, architectures, and delivery models relevant to the Financial Services sector.
  • Understanding of financial metrics and business drivers within the industry.

Job responsibilities

Deal Shaping:
Work closely with sales and pre-sales teams to shape and close large, transformational deals.
Develop compelling value propositions and solution architectures that address client needs.
Lead client presentations and workshops.

Solution Development:
Collaborate with GSP, Practices, and other CTOs to develop innovative solutions for the Financial Services industry.
Provide guidance and oversight to solution development teams.
Ensure solutions are aligned with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Thought Leadership:
Represent the company as a thought leader in the Financial Services industry.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and publications.
Develop and share thought-provoking content on industry trends and challenges.

Client Engagement:
Spend significant time with clients to understand their business challenges, strategies, and priorities.
Develop deep relationships with key client stakeholders and become a trusted advisor.
Identify and anticipate client needs and proactively propose solutions that leverage our expertise and capabilities.

Market Analysis:
Continuously analyze the Financial Services market to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with GSP, Practices, and other CTOs to drive innovation and growth.
