Requirements:
– Experience in managing/supporting Cloud Platform (network configuration, end-points, storage and instance types selectivity , availability zones etc.)
– Experience with Azure cloud database technologies (ex: Managed SQL, MS-SQL, Cosmos, MariaDB/MySQL etc.)
– Very strong and solid experience in database administration in a cloud environment. Experience with replication/clustering and partitioning
– Experience writing and executing stress tests on databases and services
– Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems
– Very good Knowledge of indexes, index management, statistics, data-at-rest encryption, secure connectivity
Job Responsibilities:
– As Azure Cloud Database Engineer, you will design, build, and apply company-defined security policies, and automation contributions, analyze client workflow, determine the best solution for a successful project, and share knowledge of databases.
– As a part of the team, you will help the teams adapt to cloud-native database solutions.
– To be successful in this role the candidate should have deep knowledge of cloud data technologies and align technology solutions to specific business objectives.
