Description:

Looking for a Data Architect.

Requirements:

    Can interact directly with client stakeholders

    Can navigate client technology stakeholders to find out who is responsible for aspects such as Enterprise Architecture, Security, Hosting Infra, Operations, Governance, etc.

    Must be able to effectively work within a distributed team environment interacting with peers and leadership

    Must be able to produce clear-thinking/understandable developer documentation

    Must be proficient with a variety of Data Platform technologies and techniques including:

    Must be proficient with Cloud generally and be able to proficiently use the Cloud Console/CLI/etc. tools in order to configure BigData PaaS/IaaS environments.

    Must be proficient with BigData Ingestion/Processing/Transformation technologies generally and associated Cloud technologies specifically. Targeted Cloud Ingestion/Processing/Transformation technologies include Data Factory, Data Bricks, etc.

    Must be proficient with BigData Storage technologies generally and associated Azure technologies specifically. Targeted BigData Storage technologies include: Azure Blob, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SAL, Azure Cosmos DB, etc. or AWS equivalents

Job Responsibilities:

    Lead discovery-of and interviews/data-gathering-from client stakeholders such as: Enterprise Architecture, Security, Hosting Infra, Operations, Governance, etc.

    Lead alignment/planning with Product Owner stakeholders

    Lead Architecture & Technology aspects of pre-build discovery phase

    Lead production of Architecture & Technology content/documentation

    Support build-phase planning/estimating

    Lead Architecture during build phase.
