Description:

GlobalLogic invites you to join the Embedded Academy program. We are looking for people that would like to begin their career in embedded software development.

During 3 months of training, you will gather all the necessary knowledge to make the first steps in the commercial embedded projects. 

Start: April

The goal of the training program is to teach basics about embedded software development in a Linux environment. The training will be performed according to the “learning by doing” principle. During the training, the following embedded device will be implemented: Low power IoT camera trap with motion sensor. The project will be structured in a way and will use technologies resembling commercial GL projects. 

Within the project we will cover the following learning areas: Yocto build process and toolchain, cross-compiling, embedded debugging, IoT device management,  service-oriented architecture – C++, video streaming protocol basics, embedded power management basics, embedded security basics.

Requirements:

    • Technical curiosity
    • Interest in embedded solutions
    • Knowledge of programming languages: C++ (intermediate level)
    • Linux – at least from user perspective
    • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Communication skills, creativeness and open-mindedness
    • Team work
