Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
5-8 years of demonstrable experience designing technological solutions to complex data problems, developing & testing modular, reusable, efficient, and scalable code to implement those solutions.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience with complex/large enterprise BI/ETL/Data Warehouse projects

Expertise with Data warehouse (Preferably Snowflake) design approaches and the potential future impact on data warehouse architecture

Advanced knowledge in Data warehouse(preferably Snowflake) dimensional modeling. Hands-on knowledge with at least one Key ETL too such as Pentaho and framework.

Hands-on master data management and exposure to MDM tools

Cloud Database and On cloud Data Warehousing experience

SQL Programming on Snowflake is a must

NoSQL and SQL DB hands-on experience on the cloud.

Understanding of Batch/Real-time applications

Understanding of application modernization & migration
-
Understanding of Business Intelligence tools.

Must have experience in Data Vault.

Familiarity with Linux Shell Scripting

Expertise in building data ingestion tools using technologies like Python to extract data from Relational Databases/External APIs

Experience in CI/CD release automation and deployment (CloudFormation / Jenkins etc.)

Experience and good understating of databases (Oracle, Netezza) and ETL tools

Strong relationship management experience particularly influencing others in a decision process

Self-starter, curious, accountable, enjoys a healthy level of autonomy, strong work ethic, able to succeed in a fast-paced, high-intensity start-up environment

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Demonstrates agility and welcomes change

BE/ME in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
