Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience.
· Experience in systems analysis, design and an expert understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
· 4+ years of professional experience coding and/or designing applications utilizing modern development tools and best practices including focused experience in Python (preferably) or similar languages (C#, Java)
· Experience with AWS, particularly S3, Glue, Athena, CloudWatch, DynamoDB
· Good understating of SQL and NoSQL
· PowerBI and SSRS report development, connecting to AWS Athena preferably
· Practical knowledge of implanting various authentication mechanisms.
· Be an excellent problem solver with a solid understanding of OOP and a passion and drive to expand your coding skills.
· Experience in working on product or agile teams/methodology
· Ability to perform root-cause analysis and identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and resource consumption
· Ability to write unit tests prior to releasing them to the quality assurance (QA) team in a timely manner.
· Restful API development and integration experience
· Good understanding of CICD workflows and tools (Jenkins, GIT) and source code repository (Bitbucket)
· Basic knowledge of container orchestration(docker)
Preferred qualifications:
· Excellent application development skill with emphasis on Middleware and backend
· Excellent Python skills (C# / Java equivalent if no Python)
· Experience in working with cloud platforms
· Knowledge in various CI/CD tools and methodologies

· Understand various authentication methodologies for application security and API security

· Collaborate with cross-commit teams for implementation of deliverables in all environments
· Performing code reviews and implementing best engineering practices.
· Collaborate with the various teams to identify test cases and create/mine test data to enable a thorough test of all development deliverables.
· Create configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments tools (Jenkins, GIT) and source code repository (Bitbucket)
