Description:
We are looking for a passionate and conscientious Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on executing the validation activities for the next-generation vehicle controller, which is integrating new and advanced software functions for cloud connectivity, EDGE processing, and supporting autonomous driving, EV and advanced connectivity features. We create new software from scratch and work on technologies that will be introduced to the market soon. It is an Automotive project for well-known car manufacturers, and technology game changers to lead one into a fundamental transformation within the automotive industry.

Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience validating software in automotive applications
- Demonstrated validation experience with Mobile/Web/API Technologies
- Experience with creating test strategies, test plans, test procedures, and test cases
- Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), management of bug reports, collection of logs and test reporting
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
- Good communication skills to explain the issues/status to management
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe
- Communicative English (spoken and written)
- Ability to update the Telematics module/Radio and any other ECUs firmware using CAN/CDA/Platform flash – nice to have
- Experience working with automotive ECU modules – nice to have
- Experience in MQTT framework – nice to have
- Experience in Vector CANoe – nice to have
- Experience with Postman, and Swagger – nice to have
Job Responsibilities:
- Create test plans defining scope, timeline, feature list and validation approach
- Review daily/weekly changes in requirements, user stories, and change requests to create and update test cases
- Execute API tests using Postman/Swagger and other tests using ECU simulation, test benches, and vehicles
- Create and update defects in defect management systems, including detail for version, steps to recreate, and expected and actual results, log files are required
- Execute weekly defect retesting and root cause analysis for identified issues
- Update test status report daily with test results identified issues
- Contribute to team training material, engage in cross-team development
