Description:
We are offering developers the ability to become part of a big engineering team working on building a Netflix-like Streaming Application for the US Media Market
Our Client is the leader of the US Media Market and one of the biggest companies that are providing Media Entertainment content (Live TV, Movies, Series and Shows, Sports events, Music, and Podcasts) to users on OTT platforms.
Requirements:
– 5+ years of development experience
– Excellent knowledge of C++
– Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented programming
– Strong knowledge and experience with networking protocols
– Understanding of Media Streaming Formats and DRM
– Experience creating Software Design
– Good written and verbal English skills
– Responsible, goal oriented, self-organized, communicable
Preferences:
Digital Media-Media Processing, DRM, BrightScript, Embedded
Job Responsibilities:
– Implementing new features and bug fixes for the UI layer of the STB firmware (C++)
– Dev-testing on the application level (RSG/BrightScript)
– Working with DRM systems
– Working with video playback
