Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
• Independent, fast learner and excited about learning new technologies.
• Assist in defining measurable testing metrics and build out automated reporting and
dashboards.
• Provide automation test reports and statistics and ensure accurate and complete
documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
• BA/BS degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or relevant fields
required. Master’s Degree preferred.
• 8+ years of industry experience in software development industry with some focused on
developing test automation solutions with modern toolsets
• Be part of a collaborative team delivering software in 2-week sprints. Your goal is to
work collaboratively with developers and work to deliver test cases coinciding with the
features being implemented.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a QA lead role and handling team
• Hands-on experience in driving the end to end test automation strategy and programming
• Provide technical leadership, direction, strategy and hands-on assistance to other
members of the team
• Experience in IoT and/or embedded devices and/or Mobile App experience, Skills &
Abilities.
• Experience with software test methodologies, test planning, test automation, test tooling,
and quality standards and metrics
• Knowledge on usability, performance, scalability, and security testing
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages and technique, Python
(preferred) and C#
• Experience developing automated tests that integrate into existing testing frameworks or
with new scalable and reusable testing frameworks
• Experience working with Jenkins or comparable CI/CD software.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication abilities.
• Working experience of on-site/off-shore model
• Experience working in an AWS environment is a plus
• Experience with Selenium is a plus
• Experience with automated testing is required
• Experience with Appium, Robot Framework is required
• Experience with test reporting tools
