Description:
We are looking for a skilled engineer to join our team!
Our team supports one of the biggest European Automotive OEMs in the design and development of the embedded software for the electronic control units of the cars, as well as related frameworks and tools.
We work in areas of a remote software update, telematics & connectivity, context-aware systems, and application platforms.
We are responsible for the development, integration, and validation of multiple Middleware applications and services for the current and the next generation car lines. Our team follow modern development methodologies and tools like continuous integration, agile development and test automation to design and implement innovative and high-quality software.

Requirements:

5+ years of proven project experience in software engineering

Professional experience as an embedded middleware developer

Expert knowledge of C and C++ (11/14/17 standard)

Expert knowledge of CMake and Python

Experience with development for embedded Linux
-
Experience with git, Github, and Gerrit
- Experience with Agile SCUM or Kanban and Jira
Nice to have:

Experience SW development for the automotive industrie
- Experience with DLT tool/deamon and QT a major plus
-
Experience with Yocto, QNX, Gtest, Gmock, Zuul, bazel
- Developer experience with LINUX security topics
Job Responsibilities:
-
Contribute to the design and development of new features and services.
-
Participate in the analysis, diagnosis and troubleshooting of SW issues.
- Maintain and enhance the existing codebase and platform.

Test and validate functionality using simulations, stubs, and real hardware
- Work in an Agile Scum or Kanban environment with other team members.

Support management with selected, development specific tasks.
- The majority of work will be feasible to be done remotely, but not all.
