Description:
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer for an innovative project in the automotive industry. Our client is an automotive software company that combines software competencies and further expands them, building on a heritage of providing automotive innovation for everyone.
The project is involved in the development of a new and better platform for electric cars. A key role in this concept is played by intelligent energy management functions. The Globallogic team will participate in System and SW level engineering along with modeling in MATLAB.
Requirements:
Degree in electrical engineering, computer sciences, or comparable education
5+ years of relevant experience in testing
Experience in the software testing of Automotive Embedded systems
Experience in work with TPT
AUTOSAR awareness
Knowledge of known SW dev toolchains, way of working, and processes.
Knowledge of process and methods for testing embedded S/W (Black-Box, Regression, etc.)
Excellent technical/logical thinking
Strong skill to analyze technical problems
Good skills in communication
Communicative English
Experience in ASPICE, V-Model is a plus
Good C/C++ knowledge (to understand the code better)

Job Responsibilities:
Review of Software-Unit-Designs relating to testability
Failure analysis and generation of test reports
Requirements analysis
Documenting all steps in the testing process
Reporting and investigating found software issues
Work closely with development
SW unit test setup test results
SW Integration test setup test results
SWU & SWC integration test results
SW Qualification test setup test results
