Our Client is one of the leading providers of a comprehensive program that enables businesses to secure brand value and thrive commercially. They serve over 5000 clients on five continents!
The project we are working on is the largest technology transformation for the Client at the moment. It consists of Engineering and Data Science functions, with 180 people globally, aligned to Trademark Solutions or Online Brand Protection Business Units. Brand Protection has large-scale web crawling and workflow web applications (including browser plugins). The platform is tracking millions of product listings each day and a dataset in excess of 150TB.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on exploratory testing of web-based applications and APIs;
- Agile mindset, preferably from Kanban style approach;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively;
- Experience with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA;
- Passion for software quality and a commitment to delivering high-quality products to customers;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Gain an understanding of the product under test and use this understanding alongside your testing experience to question and identify defects and improvements to the product features delivered;
- Design and execute manual test cases for software applications, including regression, integration, and end-to-end testing;
- Collaborate with developers and product owner to understand software requirements and provide feedback to ensure the software meets customer needs;
- Plan and execute exploratory testing sessions to uncover hidden or undiscovered software defects;
- Identify, reproduce, and report software defects, and work with development teams to resolve them;
- Develop and maintain test cases and bug reports;
- Mentor and train junior testers on best practices for software testing.
