Description:
Have you ever wondered how much software is there to be tested in a washing machine? Or is there any software at all?
Imagine an embedded system divided into a number of nodes connected to the bus network, measuring e.g. pressure, temperature, water turbidity and drum movement in real-time. Collected data is processed and used to control motors, heaters, valves, pumps and fans. The system must react to the user’s changing requests and, at the same time, adapt the execution of the program. It is easy to underestimate the complexity of this subject, but in reality, the testing of home appliances software is a challenging task. Therefore our testing process is well organized. We create and perform component tests and system tests, both manual and automatic.
Currently, we are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer who will be responsible for HAs (Home Appliances) automated testing using Python.
If you are looking for a project where you can have a lot of freedom in the approach to writing, do not be put into the limited process that the Tester must follow, interesting puzzles to solve, and many challenges – this project is definitely for you!
Requirements:
- At least 2+ (middle) /+4 (senior) years of software testing experience
Higher Education in the fields of electronics, robotics, information technologies or related - Good knowledge of Python and Testing methodologies
- Experience in test automation
- Ability to take responsibility for the tasks realization and high-quality assurance
- Effective communication skills (related to both task realization and progress reporting)
- Ability to search, gather and process data and information needed for task realization
- Minimum intermediate knowledge of English
Job Responsibilities:
- Requirements analysis (Confluence)
- Writing new test cases as well as executing existing ones (Python)
- Reporting and investigating found software issues (JIRA)
- Close cooperating with other teams located around the world
- Test framework development (PyTest)
- Taking part in the architect’s meetings
- Thinking as a testing architect
