Description:
We are looking for a Middle Test Automation Engineer Engineer to our GlobalLogic team.
We help with design and development of the embedded software for the electronic control units of the cars, as well as related tools and frameworks, for one of the biggest European Automotive OEMs.
GlobalLogic team is responsible for development, integration and validation of multiple Middleware applications and services for the current and the next generation Client’s car lines. We work in areas of remote software update, telematics & connectivity, context-aware systems, and application platforms.
We are committed to modern development methodologies and tools like continuous integration, agile development, and test automation to design and implement innovative and high-quality software.
As a part of the JavaScript Engineering Team you will contribute to the design, development and support for a JS applications platform solution, that run with the help of NodeJS runtime inside the Vehicle.
Requirements:
2+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance, testing, test scripting and automation
Experience in Python Scripting and Test Automation
Experience in SW testing in Embedded systems
User experience with Linux and/or Unix-like operating systems
Nice to have:
Experience with Automotive Infotainment Systems
Experience in analysing and debugging SW issues, crash dump analysis
Experience with Diagnosis (ISO14229, UDS)
Experience in remote target testing
Experience with Test Rack maintenance

Job Responsibilities:
Test development and execution, problem analysis and ticket management
Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software
Suggesting automated software test procedures
Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
Developing tests and automation scripts
Troubleshooting software issues
Preparing detailed test reports Conducting regression testing when needed
Monitoring assurance metrics and process results
