Description:
Our client is a leader in hardware, software, digital services, and fully-integrated solutions for musicians, producers, and DJs of all genres and levels of experience.
We are looking for a talented C++ developer to be a member of the Audio Products development team, which creates and maintains several of the products in our Audio product portfolio including cutting-edge audio production devices, integrated hardware/software systems, cross-platform sound/music applications.
Requirements:
Essential Requirements:
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals gained through formal education or work experience
• 2+ years of professional experience in software development using the C++ language
• Knowledge and practical experience in multithreading
• Previous experience developing desktop applications using Qt framework (QML would be a plus)
• Readiness to contribute to existing C++ applications using internal UI framework
• Demonstrated ability to debug complex software systems
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal English
• Experience with Git tools and workflows
• Have worked as part of an Agile scrum team
In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in some of the following areas:
• Developing real-time Audio applications
• Working on new features as well as with legacy codebases
• Working as part of a multi-cultural, distributed team
• Passion about music, audio, or media
• Cross-platform development for MacOS and Windows
• Application performance profiling and optimization, and graphics performance in particular
Job Responsibilities:
In this role you will be primarily responsible for creating and maintaining applications in C++ which run on MacOS/Windows/Linux. Typical tasks may include developing new features, writing UI code, and contributing to the overall quality of the product.
