Solid knowledge of MySQL database administration
Solid experience working in public cloud environment AWS (RDS)
Experienced in supporting MySQL Server IaaS and PaaS on AWS
Proficient in database performance tuning and SQL query tuning
Experienced in clustered MySQL Server configurations
Experienced in setting up MySQL Server Log Shipping, Replication, and Mirroring
Always on Availability Groups
Skilled in backups & disaster recovery
24 X 7 production support experience
Very good operational knowledge of working inside AWS
What we’re looking for:
SQL, SQL Stored Procedures, DB performance tuning
Manage MySQL for EDP and Loyalty product in AWS
Continually improve and automate manual tasks, identify and resolve gaps in processes;
Design/implement infrastructure as code templates, perform peer review of pull requests;
Respond to infrastructure or security incidents alongside engineering, manage incidents to resolution by following established processes;
Collaborate and mentor engineering teams in developing scalable, performant applications.
