Job Responsibilities:
Performance Testing:
Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts to simulate real-world scenarios.
Conduct various types of performance tests, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions. Performance Engineering:
Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance.
Use profiling and monitoring tools to measure application performance in production environments.
Provide recommendations for improving application performance, scalability, and stability. Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with development teams to identify performance-related issues early in the development lifecycle.
Communicate performance test results, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Lead performance testing efforts in Agile environments and ensure alignment with project goals. Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in performance testing and engineering.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in performance testing techniques and tools.
Propose and implement improvements in performance testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, including load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing. Experience in scripting and automating performance tests. Knowledge of profiling and monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cloud-based performance testing. Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization. Strong analytical skills to analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. Leadership skills with experience in mentoring junior QA engineers. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integrating performance testing into the pipeline. Experience in creating performance testing strategies and frameworks.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: 10-12 years of experience in software testing with a focus on performance testing and engineering. Technical Skills:

Experience in scripting and automating performance tests.
