Description:
It’s the time when we are looking for a Project Manager for our team! We are cooperating with one of the biggest European Automotive OEMs and help with designing and implementing embedded software for the electronic control units of the cars as well as related tools and frameworks.
We are also responsible for the development, integration validation of multiple middleware applications and services for the current and next-generation car lines. We work in areas of remote software update, telematics & connectivity, context-aware systems, and application platforms. We are committed to modern development methodologies and tools like continuous integration, agile development, and test automation to design and implement innovative and high-quality software.
In the scope of the day-to-day job, you will take management leadership over several teams working on various solutions for automotive middleware components. Requirements:
- Around 2 years of experience in managerial positions
- Project management experience in software development projects
- Hands-on knowledge & experience in Agile (Scrum, Kanban etc.) software development methodologies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Very good English (both spoken and written)
- Experience working in an enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders – nice to have
- Understanding of engineering practices including CI/CD, SDLC, test automation, GitFlow and code review – nice to have
- Experience in the automotive domain – nice to have
Job Responsibilities:
- Scrum teams management and facilitation to ensure on-time service execution and delivery of high-quality software
- Take part in project management activities and report to senior management
- Facilitate and support the development process
- Establish and execute clear communications across all team members and stakeholders
- Coordinate and resolve technical issues e.g. incoming bug tickets
- Handle standard maintenance: ensure components continue to work in future head unit software, releases, coordinating changes as necessary
- Coordinate CR evaluation, analysis, estimation, fixing, testing and integrations
- Manage priorities with stakeholders
- Track and reporting of progress
