Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
4-8 years of industry experience as an ETL/BI tester.

Responsible for understanding ETL requirements, Mapping documents, and Transformation logic

Responsible for creating Test Strategies, Test scenarios, and Scripting
-
Strong proficiency in SQL Queries, data validations, and their variation among popular databases
-
Well-versed in writing SQL queries – the ability to write joins and handle multiple tables.

Strong knowledge of testing concepts.

Excellent communication skills.

Responsible for writing and executing basic Unix commands using Putty.

Experience in analyzing ETL mapping documents

Creating SQL scripts based ETL mapping documents to compare data outputs
-
Expert in DWH, Reports, and dashboard testing.

Good to have an understanding of Snowflake or any other Data Warehouse.

Good to have an understanding of Big Data or Data Engineering based project experience.

An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment

Teamwork skills (Offshore and Onshore models)

Experienced in an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment

Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends

Job Responsibilities:
Experience as an ETL/BI tester. Execute test cases for applications that use ETL components/BI Dashboards and mentor the junior team Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, and validating stored procs, jobs, triggers, and replication. Expert in DWH, Reports, and Dashboard testing with excellent SQL skills
