Description:
If you would like to join our GlobalLogic family and improve your Android skills – this offer may be of interest to you. In this particular project, you will be creating a visionary solution that will inspire potential customers as to what an in-car Infotainment system might look like in the future.
The scope of the work package is OEM- and brand-specific extensions to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code and building the Android Launcher application. These extensions focus on the System UI (user interface).
If you would like to develop your competence in Android applications and can boast very good knowledge of Java and Kotlin – apply! We will be extremely pleased to have you on our team!
Requirements:
- +5 years of relevant experience in developing applications based on the Android platform
- Professional experience in Android SDK area development with usage of external libraries
- Knowledge of clean code, clean architecture
- Knowledge of Jetpack – live data, room, view model
- Unit tests development
- Basic knowledge of reactive programming: rxjava and/or coroutines
- Very good English level
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of GUI/Usability testing and Automotive will be a plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating native applications for the Android Automotive platform for In-Car Entertainment System
- Working with Android Emulator (MHU)
- Proposing solutions depending on prevailing trends and technology developments
- Creation, implementation, extension, testing
- Conducting and completing project documentation in English
- Following the Automotive SPICE model
- Clarify requirements with a Customer
