Requirements:
- At least 4-5 years of experience working in C/Linux environment QNX (preferred)
- At least 4-5 years of experience working with Git/SVN
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of modern IOT networks (REST APis/MQTT/DTLS)
- Excellent written and communication skills and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to drive innovation and passion for learning new technologies
- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
- Ability to communicate in English
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and deploy scalable software that works across all vehicles
- Drive engineering best practices and set standards for other engineers on the team
- Simplify code and resolve team architecture deficiencies
- Break down complex software projects into parallel work that you and other SDEs can perform and then reassemble successfully into a cohesive launch
- Proactively removes architectural bottlenecks – makes trade-offs: short-term vs. long-term technology decisions
- Advise directors and principal engineers on technical direction for the organizations
- Participate in the hiring process and mentor others – improving their skills, knowledge of your software and ability to get things done
