Description:

We are working with the leading US-based manufacturer of medical devices and related apps. The product includes Web and mobile applications which help to extend life and alleviate the pain of thousands of patients. The applications help the patients collect the data about their health conditions (manually and from the implants) daily and the therapists evaluate the dynamics of the chosen treatment and adjust it based on the collected data. The project includes Web application, API for external components, an Android application, and QA automated tests.

 

Requirements:

    Required Skills:

    • 3+ years of strong experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC, CM tools

    • Linux administration skills including troubleshooting, analyzing system logs, manage services, installation, security hardening, services, packaging

    • Strong experience with Java projects on the level of understanding scripts, reverse-engineering of current setup

    • Proficiency in creating Infrastructure-as-Code

    • Cloud management experience

    • Strong experience in creating and supporting technical documentation

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

    • Good prioritization skills

    • Good verbal and written English communication skills (Upper-intermediate)

    Desired Qualifications:

    Dev:

    • Strong experience with License report automation

    • SOUP report automation

    • Dev reports generation: Code coverage, Sonarcube static analysis, API docs

    • Gitlab dashboard to aggregate all builds (nice-to-have)

     

    Test:

    • Migrate test pipeline to gitlab

    • Parallelize AUTs in Katalon the same way as CSTF, aggregate test results

    • Finalizing deployment of nodes to make them work with Saucelabs

    • Test result aggregation

    • Splitting up CSTF/AUT to get results processing, infrastructure setup

Job Responsibilities:

    As part of the DevOps engineers team to participate in:

    • Environment/architecture planning, creating reusable modules, importing existing resources

    • Driving improvements in the pipelines

    • Building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations

    • Troubleshoot issues and environments

    • Creating and supporting technical documentation

    • Continuous improvement of products’ security, stability and optimization

    • Working with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and define infrastructure and deployment requirements

    • Developing, maintaining, and supporting cloudnative software systems;
