Description:
Our team is working on developing a SaaS-based solution that helps to manage legal and claims vendor spend, gain insight into the data with solutions that improve the bill review process, increase efficiency, enable better decision making, enhance vendor relationships, and deliver improved program results.
GL Team supports a full cycle of development. Starting from the roadmap planning and requirements preparation phase, continue with implementation and testing and closing the cycle by releasing to production servers. For our client, we provide Proxy PO, development, QA, DevOps, DBA, Architect, and management expertise.
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager who will take responsibility for our distributed and diverse team acting in Poland and Ukraine.

Requirements:

You have at least 2 years of experience in an independent Senior Manager role in the software delivery area (outsourcing experience would be an asset)
- You know and understand the challenges of outsourcing business models and cooperation with enterprise companies

You have a technical background and you understand the software production process in enterprise applications (it is a strong asset)

You are aware and you are able to implement agile principles and whenever needed fill out the knowledge gaps in these matters for the entire team

You know what to do to build relations with your team members – especially in a distributed and remote and diverse environment

You know how to work with an extended team model – and you understand that interviewing, and hiring new employees is an important part of your job

You are able to implement a strategy of retaining tech specialists within your team in a fast and demanding IT Sector

You like working with a flexible approach and are open to change; And you are able to motivate your team to follow those changes

You know how to set up goals for yourself and for others

You have experience in working in a complex environment with many stakeholders and you have the skills to manage their expectations as well as you are able to create your space of impact

You work with Jira, Oracle, Confluence, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

Managing client expectations and ensuring communication is ongoing, efficient, clear

Proactive work with the client management team on conveying their position and vision to all team members

Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns

Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries

Oversee daily activities of the delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed

Improving a process of reporting incidents and blockers across the teams and dependencies

Support Agile/Scrum processes implementation in the teams across Poland and Ukraine
