Description:
NSG team works on 2 generations of Harmonic Cable products: actively developing the industry’s first software-based CCAP solution (“Cable OS”) and supporting market-leading edgeQAMs (“NSG 900-40G”, “NSG PRO”).
These solutions allow cable operator companies to deliver IP-based data, video, and voice services to millions of customers. Focus is given to CableOS which will allow us to get rid of the existing HW equipment and migrate to the cloud, saving customers the enormous expenses of supporting HW network equipment.
GlobalLogic team is involved in development, manual and automated testing, as well as in solution integration at customers’ head-end.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in administration of networks, and Linux servers;
- Networking hands-on experience (router/switches configuration);
- High technical abilities, good debugging skills (failure point finding);
- Good communication skills;
- Intermediate English (writing and speaking).
Preferences:
- Embedded Lab environment (racks with HW devices /Data Center experience);
- CCNP;
- Hands-on experience with hardware of Juniper, Cisco (switches/routers);
- Hands-on experience with virtualization environment (VMware ESXi);
- Hands-on experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Graphana, PRTG, Cactus).
Job Responsibilities:
Remote maintenance, troubleshooting, and configuring new components of R&D Lab, which contains HW setups under testing including networking components (switches/routers/servers).
