Description:
We invite a Senior/Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join a growing medical device industry account. Our client is a clinical environmental design company that enables a better care experience at the point of care in medical, dental, and animal health.
Our team focuses on designing and developing a scalable, easily expandable, complex software/hardware automated test platform. The system is used for automated testing of the ecosystem of embedded medical products, where the software has strong restrictions for safety and quality. Tools and emulators/simulators development in the scope as well.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in the data engineering and software development life cycle
- Experience with leading projects is a plus
- Strong experience in embedded SW development
- Experience with Python for automation and testing is a plus
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture, operating system fundamentals, and real-time software development and testing
- Experience in HW design is a plus
- Experience with multiprocessing/multithreading
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, OOP principles
- Good analytical skills, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-organized personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- English level: Upper intermediate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implementation of an emulator of medical-embedded devices
- Integration of emulator with Python-based automation testing system
- Collaborate with teams and management to make critical technical decisions that align with project goals
- Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and performant code
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
