Description:
The project is related to the petrol industry. The role will require close liaison with development and test teams to increase the effectiveness of current development processes. You will be shaping the way that we use our DevOps tools and innovating to deliver business value.
We are cooperating with the customer which is a British multinational oil and gas company headquartered in London, England. It is one of the oil and gas “supermajors” and one of the world’s largest companies. The company operates in all areas of the oil and gas industry, including exploration and extraction, refining, distribution and marketing, power generation, and trading.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 4+ years of programming experience in C# (8.0 or later)
- 4+ years of programming experience in .NET Frameworks – .NET 6 / .NET CORE 3.1 / .NET 4.6
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2022
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Service Bus)
- Database Development
- Good knowledge of SQL servers with building SQL queries and procedures
- Entity Framework
- Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) with Pattern (MVVM)
- Experience developing and deploying microservices
- Distributed Systems experience
- Developing multi-threaded and real-time software
- Rich, highly responsive client/server development
- Dependency injection
- Object Oriented design and development
- Unit testing, mock framework libraries such as Moq
- Git source code version control
- Creating, deploying, and managing Docker containers
- Experience integrating with commercial systems
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Great communication and English skills
- Good time-management skills
- Knowledge in Agile methodologies – Scrum and having experience working in sprint
- Knowledge of Blazor (Server/Web assembly); .NET Multi-platform App UI (.NET MUAI); Power BI or equivalent platforms for reporting; DevExpress 20.2 or later it’s nice to have
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop code and perform unit testing
- Actively contribute to software design and hands-on development
- Realise and sustain the use of a CI/CD pipeline within the teams using Azure DevOps
- Actively contribute to improving the quality of both products and services by working in accordance with internal and external quality standards
- Undertake software design reviews and Ability and/or experience to mentor, guide and lead by example
- Assist in the refinement of specifications and requirements into development backlogs, and present tested, working software in iteration reviews
- Resolve technical issues arising during the project lifecycle and after release
