Description:
Context
We develop a POS solution that allows providing attended (employee) and unattended (customer) tunnel car washing service. There are two labs:
1. One in USA
2. One in Ukraine (Lviv)
Both support USA and Canadian market. One hardware set includes several points on sale, a set of different sensors, readers and cameras, payment terminals, servers, automatic gates.
Ukrainian teams develop a PWA(web) application and a hybrid web application (.Net & Angular) that operates on hardware & cloud and supports full customer flow: from customer recognition or account creation to sale & directing their car to a tunnel. All embedded development is on the client’s side. Some teams have hardware dependencies based on the areas of the application they work with, meaning office presence is necessary.
Flow
SCRUM, 2-week sprints, releases strictly every 3 weeks + updates on demand. Sprints include mandatory daily stand-ups, grooming, planning, demo, and retro sessions.
Team Goals
Creating HW simulators to allow running the application in any virtual environment without the need to have real hardware wired/attached to it. This will allow for:
– remote manual testing;
– complete test automation of all system end-to-end scenarios
to save a huge amount of time and resources.
Team Composition(preliminary)
Team lead, 2x Senior .Net engineer(You), 2x Middle .Net engineer, Senior Manual QA, Manual QA
Requirements:
- Strong .NET Core knowledge, MVC.NET, MS SQL
- Good knowledge of software-oriented architecture, micro-services
- Good analytical skills, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Upper-Intermediate English skills
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- 5+ years of experience
Would be a plus:
- Experience in payment systems development
- Experience in Azure Cloud
- Experience with Hardware-related projects(.NET only)
- Knowledge of Networking
- Good angular/FE knowledge
- Good HTML5/CSS/JS
Job Responsibilities:
- Working in a multinational Scrum Team
- Performing requirements analysis, application development, product configuration, unit, and system testing, and production deployment within the framework of the infrastructure;
- Cross-team communication and cooperation;
- Involvement in Architecture discussions, Prototyping
- Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum-based environment;
- Work closely with the embedded team and customer integrations team to successfully bring the solution to production;
