Description:
Our client is a rapidly growing leader in the data and application integration space. Our customers are thought leaders in data integration, big data and cloud integration, they represent some of the biggest and best names in retail, financial services, consumer products, and business services.
Requirements:
R&D is taking the ownership over Licence Manager and other other core systems essential to run main products.
We need somebody fluent in English, positive and open-minded, comfortable with code built over time and ready to rewrite after defining a good set of tests. That is why we would be inclined to work with somebody familiar with the PHP framework (ex: Laravel). The consultant has to be familiar with SQL queries (ideally MySql). Short availability is a big plus. We want somebody dedicated to the project and not working overtime on it.
To summary our needs:
* Strong English, communication and interpersonal skills to work as a part of client’s team
* Recent backend experience with PHP (minimum 2 years), a bit inhttp, JS
* Familary with the PHP framework (ex: Laravel)
* Familary with SQL queries (ideally MySql)
* Experieced with migration from PHP 5 to PHP 8 will be huge plus
* Experience in other migrations, which confirm candidate ability to understand someone else’s code and rewritten it
Job Responsibilities:
* Understand existing code base
* Rewrite using recent technologies along with good test coverage
* Identify tactical and long-terms improvements
* Collaborating with other team member(s), report progress on daily basis
* Maintaining technical documentation.
