Description:
For our team in Poland we are looking a Senior Project Manager. In this project, we are assisting a medical device manufacturer in the US and Europe whose goal is to make life easier for people with diabetes and other diseases. The project you will join represents a big system including integration between the embedded device, mobile application, and web services, and because of this, we are focusing a lot on the security aspects of the embedded system. The project is very structured and process driven and it is considered as technical excellence so we are paying huge attention to technical challenge motivation of our team members.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the IT sector
- At least 2 years of experience in managing projects with 30+ FTE
- Experience as a Project Manager in the Medical and/or Embedded
- Experience in Software Development (Engineering or QA background)
- Proficient in setting up Software Development and QA processes
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Scrum/Agile methodology
- Advanced experience in managing distributed teams
- Experience with medical projects – is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build good relationships with the team and the customer
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to take responsibility for the tasks realization and high-quality assurance
- Effective communication skills (related to both task realization and progress reporting)
- Fulfilling commitments and willingness to show initiative
- Fluent Polish (spoken and written)
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Higher Education in the fields of information technologies or project management

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage multi-location team working on medical system
- Supervise project managers, scrum masters and key technical engineers
- Ensure overall project status is on track
- Ensure quality of delivery is on expected level
- Keep teams’ performance on expected level
- Ensure communication with the customer is effective and transparent
- Ensure integration between a Client & GL teams is on expected level
- Make sure all reports are regular/timely and compliant
- Drive staffing process
