Description:
GlobalLogic is looking for Python Developer to explore the world of innovative software product development within a next generation enterprise platform. The project involves both transformation and building new services to be offered to customers in telecoms space. We are looking for team players who wants to be part of this challenging project working in a high-performance Agile Engineering team.
Requirements:
Experience:
5+ years of professional experience as a Python Software Engineer.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
Experience with RESTful API design.
Proficiency in using containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Technical Skills:
Expertise in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, Develop, and Maintain:
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code to develop cloud-native applications that are scalable, secure, and resilient.
Cloud Integration:
Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to build, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
Containerization:
Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to package and deploy applications.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Work closely with DevOps to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quick and reliable software releases.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
