Description:

We are looking for a Software Requirements Engineer for an innovative project in the automotive industry. Our client is an automotive software company that combines software competencies and further expands them, building on a heritage of providing automotive innovation for everyone.

The project is involved in the development of a new and better platform for electric cars. A key role in this concept is played by intelligent energy management functions. The Globallogic team will participate in System and SW level engineering along with modeling in MATLAB.

Requirements:

    At least 4 years of experience in a similar position (best in Automotive)
    Good knowledge of software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
    Strong experience in requirements management
    Good knowledge of Automotive standards
    Experience with system diagram modeling using UML
    Ability to read technical documentation (specification for embedded automotive modules)
    Ability to create clear and concise requirements documentation
    Good communication skills
    Willingness to learn
    Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
    Attention to detail
    SAFe or Agile development experience
    Experience in ASPICE, V-Model is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

    Working across the full software development lifecycle, where you’ll be eliciting, capturing, analyzing, reviewing, specifying, and writing software requirements
    Creating and maintaining traceability between software requirements and documentation
    Root cause technical analysis, impact analysis, decision analysis, gap analysis with supervision/guidance
    Reviewing software requirements and documentation with Stakeholders and providing status reports
    Completing the assigned tasks within the project schedule and satisfying customer’s needs
    Taking part in meetings with stakeholders to gather information and also provide technical support to the client
    Communicating on daily basis with internal and external teams in order to efficiently and clearly validate your analysis and requirements
