Description:
With the rapid transformation towards Electric Vehicles and SW defined Vehicles, GlobalLogic’s Automotive BU has been one of the fastest growing BU in the company and we are looking at highly motivated achievers to join this high-performance team to focus on strategic accounts in North America.
Reporting to SVP, Automotive Business Unit, the person will be responsible for driving growth in existing and new automotive accounts in US, in addition to enabling the strategic charter for the BU. This is an individual contributor role with scope to take on leadership position in the company down the line.
Requirements:
- Professional technology sales and business development executive with a minimum of 10+ years of sales experience selling into Automotive OEM/Tier-I’s with a proven track record of shaping deals in product engineering and a thorough understanding of SW defined vehicle eco-system and Automotive Electronics business.
- Track record of proactively managing complex, multi-year, multi-tier deals with Automotive companies, proven and quantifiable record of aggressively growing sales and exceeding quotas, with deals sizes in the range of $10M – 15M.
- Expert understanding of the technology needs of target segments
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional prospecting and closing skills
- Bachelor’s in Engineering degree; MBA preferred.
- 2-3 days travel/week within the selected geography.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a sales strategy and account plan for Strategic & Target Accounts;
- Identify and develop key relationships with in existing clients to grow sales revenue
- Develop relationships with the key stakeholders & decision makers; Chief Technology Officer, Chief Digital Officer, Chief Product Officer and work directly with them and their teams
- Create the detailed account plans within existing accounts and grow sales revenue.
- Maintain a visible presence with targeted firms and personally close key deals.
- Achieve aggressive sales and profit targets.
- Continue to grow strategic accounts through executive relationships, technology and business leadership, and company alignment.
- Manage legal and financial aspects of the deal.
- Maintain on going relationships with client representatives to ensure open communications, and ultimately continuation and growth of the business.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts; maintain accurate and timely contact and sales pipeline information.
- Leverage market knowledge and customer feedback to enhance GlobalLogic strategy, positioning, solutions, and marketing efforts.
- Stay abreast of marketing trends and business drivers and the corresponding technology solutions required.
- Deep engagement with customers to understand their needs and build/ nurture long-term relationships
- Conduct client presentations, proposals and negotiations
- Own the sales funnel across the entire sales process.
