Description:

We are building a new GCP-based OTT media solution for a big well-known broadcaster. The goal of the project is to design, prototype and implement a backend for the media platform while researching, assessing and recommending the third-party (commercial or open-source) components to become a part of the new solution.

 

Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in software engineering field

    • Computer science or engineering degree

    • Experience in large-scale projects with high performance and stability demands

    • Experience in integration projects

    • Experience in cloud-based solutions (preferably GCP-based)

    • Experience in either of NodeJS/Python  

    • Knowledge of SDLC and software development methodologies

    • Good interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills

    • Upper intermediate English (written and verbal)

    Nice to have:

    • Experience or knowledge of more than one programming language

    • Experience working in an enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders

     

Preferences:

JavaScript, Python

Job Responsibilities:

    • Design, prototyping and implementation of a high-performance cloud-based media solution

    • Design documentation

    • Third-party components assessment and recommendations on components to be used in the solution

    • Writing documentation
