Description:

Candidate will be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of entertainment and media applications on Android platforms.

This is an opportunity to join worldwide community of developers that create and deliver fast and innovative media and networked applications for Android mobile.

Our customer is a group of media channels that consists of 9 entertainment TV channels. We are building multiplatform and multitenant applications that consist of smaller pieces that are hooked together via API to make more flexible applications.

Requirements:

    Required:

    ·        4+ years of development experience

    ·         2 or more years of development using Java or Kotlin

    ·         MVVM / Coordinator/Router

    ·         Solid understanding of Autolayout, experienced with custom animations/transitions

    ·         Networking experience

    ·         At least intermediate English level

    ·         Ability to work in agile software development environment, maintaining focus yet remaining flexible to requirements and design change

    ·         Proactive problem solving abilities

    Preferred:

    ·         Background in user interface technologies and design

    ·         Experience in multimedia playback and streaming

Job Responsibilities:

    Development, maintenance, and support of entertainment and media applications on Android mobile platforms. 

    Implementing independent micro-apps (screens) within an app that are hooked together via API

    Build API driven app for new product that has to be launched this year

    Integration with multiple analytics libraries like Comscore, mParticle, Yobora, Nielsen

    Work with Android and Android TV platforms
