Description:
GlobalLogic is looking for a VB.Net Developer with experience in maintaining high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. Successful candidates will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications.
Role and responsibility include leading a VB.Net development team while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. The Candidate should also have experience in SQL scripting and exposure to the Azure cloud platform
Hands-on development in VB.Net and SQL Scripting with 8+ Years of experience
Maintaining a high bar on Quality within the agreed Timelines.
Excellence in delivery, processes, and standards.
Requirement Analysis and elaboration at feature and story level along with a team, Backlog Owners, and Product Owners.
Story Grooming & Analysis, Scenario Definition, etc.
Participate in requirements analysis
Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
Test and deploy applications and systems
Revise, update, refactor and debug code
Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Exposure to the Azure platform will be an added advantage
Requirements:
