Description:
On the platform side, it will be required for the role to work with cloud technologies, mostly with serverless resources to ensure scalability, availability, resiliency and traceability in every aspect of our client records. It will be required enough expertise on data structures and architectures in order to implement enhancements for the platform to respond to business needs.
Requirements:
The role will also be working on definition, design and implementation of data pipelines that will work on top of the platform. We will be working on specific tools depending on the treatment of the data. For the streaming process it is important to run implementations on the platform using cloud serverless resources such as AWS Lambda Functions and AWS Glue along with on-prem applications such as Apache NiFi. For batch processing it is required for the role to work with Apache Airflow, DBT and AWS EMR. In both cases it is expected for us to work the data delivery layer on top of Snowflake cloud infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Data Engineer in the team, you will be responsible for developing both the platform and the ETL pipelines required by business to make decisions, take actions and build reports about every client in the client’s environment.
