The Olympus Markets Data Strategy team is building a next generation Data Fabric to solve the evolving Business, Analytical and Regulatory needs of Citi’s Institutional Clients Group (ICG). The Fabric will bring together disparate data sources for the Global Markets organization and enable industry-leading analytics, client reporting, regulatory, surveillance, supervisory reporting(s) and data science solutions. It will also provide enhanced data quality controls , completeness and accuracy, reconciliations, entitlements, performance, management of data retention and archival per regulatory guidelines.
As part of this program build out the team are developing best in class applications to meet these use cases and managing complex dataapplication migrations to the Olympus Architecture.

Qualifications:
Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
• 5+years of Development experience with expertise in the following:
o Spark
o Python/Scala.Java
o Spark/Hive/Impala SQL
o HDFS
o Linux based Hadoop Ecosystem
o XML/JSON
o Microservices
• Experience in Big data technologies including real time data processing platform(Spark Streaming)
• Experienced in data warehousing, data modelling and data marts
• A history of delivering against agreed objectives
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Ability to pick up new concepts and apply the knowledge.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach with willingness to learn
• The candidate is expected to be dynamic, flexible with a high energy level as this is a demanding and rapidly changing environment
Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop real time and batch data transformation processes using wide range of technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Spark SQL, Python/Scala, Hive/Impala etc.
• Develop Framework and Components required to match high volume of data across multiple data sets, persist matched and unmatched data, and features to browse and re-process the data
• Setup monitoring and management for services
• Evaluation of tools and technologies for data processing, data analytics and data distribution
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
