Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare, and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.

Requirements:
Mandatory:
- Experience in embedded firmware development
- Good skills in C programming for embedded systems
- Linux environment experience
- Experience in tools supporting the software development process: GIT, Jira, Wireshark, optionally ClearCase, ClearQuest
- Good English proficiency (min. B2)
Nice to have:
- 3G/4G/5G knowledge
- Experience in writing or modifying peripheral drivers for SPI, I2C, UART, USB, etc.
- University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunication, or a related field
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and development of firmware for industrial wireless telecommunication devices
- Analysis of technical problems and development of various firmware solutions
- Working closely with analysts, designers, and project managers
- Programming and debugging – various hardware platforms
- Working with Real-Time Operating Systems
