Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in Java and related technologies, is required for this role.
• Skilled in Java programming, along with experience in Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Actuator, and Spring Data frameworks.
• Possess excellent communication skills in English, essential for discussing technical requirements, presenting design and feature demos in sprints, and effectively conveying developed solutions to stakeholders during scrum activities.
• Proficient in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, with an understanding of database management and operations.
• Familiar with Confluent Kafka for messaging and Docker Desktop for containerization, demonstrating an understanding of modern software deployment practices.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks, specifically Aurelia, for UI development and integration.
• Proficient in developing and testing APIs, with practical experience using tools like POSTMAN.
• Comfortable using IDEs such as VS Code and IntelliJ IDEA for software development.
• Experienced with version control systems, with a preference for experience in Azure.
• Familiar with system access and monitoring tools like PuTTY, and experience with Kafka and Zookeeper in a Spring Boot environment.
• Capable of working in a high-performance, agile scrum environment, actively contributing to various projects and participating in development sprints.
• Able to establish and manage system performance metrics, focusing on rapid issue detection and effective problem resolution.
Job Responsibilities:
• Contribute to enhancing and supporting the Audience Generation and Delivery system through proficient coding in Java, integration, and feature development, focusing on personalizing retail offers and system optimization.
• Focus on developing and optimizing the Java-based data pipeline within a Kafka message-driven system, handling the orchestration and transformation of audience data for campaign delivery.
• Provide specialized debugging and troubleshooting for the audience delivery system when alerted by the L2 support team about time-driven SLA breaches, focusing on identifying and resolving issues that impede job processing within the audience reach expansion process.
• Establish and manage system metrics to monitor performance, ensuring rapid issue detection and response for effective problem resolution and communication.
• Develop high-quality Java code for the Audience Generation and Delivery system, incorporating best practices in software development and thorough unit testing to ensure robust functionality.
• Develop and oversee system metrics to monitor the performance of the audience delivery system, particularly focusing on stages and flows in the audience reach expansion process.
