Description:
We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer for the client of our Fintech portfolio, i.e.: one of the fastly growing financial organizations providing asset management for institutions to help them select their investment strategies. In this position, you will become a part of our DevOps Team. The project goal is to help the Client move to AWS, so we’re looking for an experienced engineer with hands-on AWS experience across a broad range of AWS services, experience of building out Landing Zones, has good Terraform experience, etc.
It is a great chance to become a part of a distributed, cross-functional team based in Poland. This Project is a part of the Multi-Year Program Plan.

Requirements:
Hands-on AWS experience across a broad range of AWS services:
Microservices Architecture: Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Scaling & Multi-Region Active/Passive, GitLab Runners in EKS, Ping Identity Security
Experience with AWS Core Services like as follows: API Gateway, Cloud Front, CDN, Route53, VPC, NAT, Egress & ElasticacheAWS EKS, AWS Transit, Regional VPC Peering, Familiar with Encryption, Logging, and Privacy/Security Protocols & groups, NACL, Route Tables
Solid DevOps experience: Public cloud automaton tooling and scripting experience – Terraform, AWS Cloudtrail, AWS Cloudwatch logs, AWS Cloudwatch Alerts, AWS SNS, GitHub
Site reliability engineering skills: Prometheus & Grafana, Open Telemetry, Jaegar, Amazon Neptune, Kail, BitBucket
Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines: TeamCity, Maven, Sonar, Packflow, Cucumber, OWASP Foundation, Argo
Data technologies experience: AWS Aurora Postgres, Kafka, AWS MSK & MSK Connect, AWS SQS, SNS, Confluent Atlas Kafka
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the dev team and stakeholders to move the Client’s infrastracture to AWS.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in their development lifecycle, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for consistent provisioning.
- Implement tools and processes to increase developer productivity and reduce time-to-market.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and management to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Lead the design and implementation of our internal developer platform, empowering development teams to build and operate their services faster and more effectively.
- Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve delivery pipeline issues to ensure a reliable release process.
- Keep up-to-date with platform engineering industry trends and emerging technologies.
